Install Blockk for Chrome

Add Blockk to Chrome, keep your blocker data on this device, and start with a small local rule set before adding your own trigger domains.

1. Add the extension

Use the Add to Chrome button above to open Blockk’s official Chrome Web Store listing. During local development, load the chromePlugin directory as an unpacked extension.

2. Review permissions

The MVP uses declarativeNetRequest for local blocking and storage for local settings and streak data.

3. Configure your triggers

Open Options, add custom domains, and keep the pause window short enough to preserve friction.

Honest limit: Chrome still lets you disable or uninstall extensions from browser settings. Blockk adds friction inside its own pause flow.
